OS-117 can be used as a silicone crosslinker or as a raw material for phenyl silicone oil.
OS-117 is used to treat wollastonite, aluminum hydroxide and other inorganic fillers, which can make the surface of these inorganic fillers hydrophobic, thus increasing the dispersion of materials in polymers. It is especially suitable for polymers that need to be processed at high temperature to reduce the melting viscosity of polymers.
