Dimethyl silicone oil has a series of products, mainly divided by viscosity, its use temperature is between - 40℃ and 200℃. If you want to tolerate the high temperature of silicone oil above 200℃, only phenyl methyl silicone oil can be selected, and the use temperature range is - 57℃ to 232℃. If you have to use dimethyl silicone oil to withstand high temperatures above 200℃, use it in vacuum or in an inert gas atmosphere. Otherwise, oxidation reaction will occur.
